Custom Designs

Joel’s custom designed jewelry is some of the finest you will find anywhere. In a collaborative effort, using the concepts and vision of the customer and Joel’s experience and artistic talent, Joel starts by preparing sketches for review. With the customer’s feedback, Joel then lays out the design in wax for review and approval, and then moves into production and stone setting.

Our customers regularly provide their metal for incorporation into the new jewelry for sentimental reasons. Joel uses up to half of the provided metal, but usually a smaller percentage is desirable. There are limitations on custom designs: sometimes a customer requests a design that is too complicated, or impractical. Joel works with each customer to come up with a design that is original, beautiful, and practical.
